Private School Bus Driver

Renert School (K-12) is an innovative private school in NW Calgary. Our school requires an experienced bus driver to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with students and teachers. Drivers must be able to demonstrate a high degree of professionalism while ensuring our students get safely to and from school on a daily basis. Daily routes in the morning and afternoon consist of 3 stops each way. As our school bus driver, you will work a split shift: from 6:30am - 8:30am and 3pm - 5pm. Our school has large/medium and mini buses that will be driven depending on daily needs (to and from school, along with any planned school field trips).

Qualifications:

• A professional driver with verified bus driving experience (at least 3 years, including at least 1 full winter driving a large school bus).
• Minimum Class 2 licence (max 3 demerit points); must also have an "S" school bus endorsement .
• First aid trained or be willing to undertake training.
• Must have a sound mechanical knowledge of buses.
• Provide up to date 10 year drivers abstract no older than 2 weeks

• Must enjoy company of children and be a positive role model
• Clear current criminal check with vulnerable sector search
• Summers, weekends, and holidays off

Successful candidates will have to undertake a comprehensive mechanical knowledge and road safety assessments with the school's in house Advanced Driving Instructor/Road Safety Officer.
