We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to our patients, work well with the existing team, and contribute to the friendly, patient-first atmosphere at Columbus Park Dental.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Perform general dentistry procedures, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic treatments
- Administer local anesthesia and manage patient comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records for all patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide seamless patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and implement best practices in clinical settings.
Requirements
- DDS/DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid New York State dental license
- Proficiency in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.
- Strong skills in medical documentation and record keeping.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- At least 2 years of experience in private practice.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the field of dentistry.
