Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
• Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations accurately during transactions
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a sanitized environment
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems for order processing and cash handling
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests
• Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced settings such as fine dining establishments or nightclubs
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding menu items and food preparation processes
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables or sections smoothly while maintaining quality service

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
