We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Cosmetology Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating and inspiring students in various aspects of cosmetology, including hair, skin, and nail care. This role requires a strong background in the beauty industry, along with the ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate techniques to students. The Cosmetology Instructor will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of beauty professionals.

Duties

• Educate students on a wide range of cosmetology topics, including hair cutting, coloring, styling, and barbering techniques.
• Instruct students in advanced skills such as eyelash extensions, facials, makeup application, hair extensions, and trigger point therapy.
• Provide hands-on training in aesthetic treatments and hair threading.
• Develop lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and industry trends.
• Assess student performance through practical demonstrations and written evaluations.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in the cosmetology field to enhance instructional methods.
• Foster an engaging learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and creativity.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology instructor license or equivalent certification.
• Extensive knowledge of cosmetology practices including anatomy knowledge related to beauty treatments.
• Experience in teaching or training is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Proficiency in various cosmetology techniques such as barbering, eyelash extensions, facials, makeup application, hair extensions, trigger point therapy, and hair threading is highly desirable.
