Class A Truck Driver

We are a growing Metal Fabrication Shop that designs, fabricates, and erects ornamental metal structures, as well as structural building components. We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join our team and help facilitate a smooth transportation of materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

•Drive truck safely and timely to designated locations; check with Shipping Supervisor to determine what time to leave and return.
•Maintain telephone and/or radio contact with appropriate supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
•Contact Shipping Supervisor when breakdowns occur.
•Adhere to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations as set forth by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
•Daily inspection of truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.

You will pull a 40ft Gooseneck trailer and will be responsible for assisting in the loading/unloading of material. We are looking for a professional individual who takes pride in their skill and will represent STI Metal Fab in an appropriate fashion.

Applicant will be subject to Motor Vehicle Record check before onboarding is complete.

REQUIREMENTS

Must possess a valid CDL A Driver's License with clean driving history.
