Description:

Consultant - Commercial Solutions & Insights Hub (CSIH), Analytics Pillar

  • Independently lead & execute projects, generate insights
  • Strong communication & stakeholder mgmt.
  • Strong general analytics and modeling experience (creating predictive models – supervised & unsupervised, test & control analysis, Market Mix modeling and Omnichannel analytics- tracking, monitoring, and reporting of omnichannel promotions)
  • Reporting & Dashboarding
  • Extensive hands-on analytics experience with trade data, sell-in, sell-out, specialty pharmacy data, inventory management, wholesaler, and channel distribution
  • Should be comfortable working in an Individual contributor role
  • Should be at BI office in Ridgefield, Connecticut at least 2-3 times a week
  • Design Analytics and Execute Them: The candidate will acquire knowledge of data sources, lead analysis to inform strategic recommendations, develop data analyses systems, and identify trends in complex data sets.
  • Provide Business Consulting and Project Management: The candidate will apply consulting methodologies to deliver engagements, create presentations for clients, manage projects, cultivate professional relationships with client teams, and work with management to prioritize needs.

Skills & Experience
:

  • 3-5 years of related experience including consulting and life sciences industry experience
  • Strong ability to manage priorities to meet deadlines with consistent, high quality outcomes
  • Knowledge of the fundamental processes of pharmaceutical commercial business
  • Prior healthcare data experience, including working knowledge of physician and patient claims;
  • Prior working experience in Customer: Journey, Segmentation, Targeting; Promotion: Allocation, Optimization, Sales Force, ROI; Tracking: Tracking, Utilization, Usage, SOB, LOT, Etc.; Forecasting and Launch: Model Building; Patient Analytics: Ad-hoc and Tracking Of LAAD and Patient Data; Supply: Supply Chain Analytics; Access: Co-pay, Contacts, Performance
  • Demonstrated knowledge in MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint
  • Experience in data visualization software including Power BI, Tableau
  • Strong technical skills in any of the following: SAS, SQL, R, Python, and/or Excel VBA
  • Exposure to cloud processing environments such as Cloudera, Snowflake, and/or Databricks
  • Experienced with developing consultative relationships with senior level managers and executives at clients in the life sciences industry.
  • Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques related to functional area.

Essential Functions

  • Manages project teams including both internal and external resources in the design, development and delivery of client solutions.
  • Leads teams to review and analyze client requirements or challenges and develops and costs associated proposals that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction with limited if any senior management input.
  • Manages the process of proposal preparation and/or modifications including overall bid integrity.
  • Develops project plan with timelines and deliverables and leads project to successful completion, on-time and on-budget, from start to finish with limited senior management guidance.
  • Recommends improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems.
  • Serves as key point of contact with client.
  • Provides high level input to, and ensures the development of, client reports and presentations and delivers all or significant portions of findings to client.
  • Develops and/or elevates new business opportunities through the identification of follow-on work and new leads.
  • Provides follow-up with client after project deliverable have been completed to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Proactively continues to strengthen subject matter expertise through on the
  • job experience, participation in conferences and symposiums and other forums for professional knowledge sharing.
  • Proactively mentors, coaches, and shares subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clients.
