Summary
The Production Supervisor manages the manufacturing department, planning and directing daily production activities to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality output. This role supervises a team of full-time employees per shift, exercises independent judgment in operational decisions, and has significant input in hiring, termination, and disciplinary actions. ensuring that automotive Class A soft trim parts are produced efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role is essential during plant startup and throughout ongoing production, requiring a dependable leader who is dedicated to supporting the team's success and maintains a consistently positive attitude.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise and direct work machine operators and production staff, ensuring readiness for plant startup and smooth transition to full production.
  • Ensure strict adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Monitor machinery performance and coordinate with maintenance to resolve issues quickly, minimizing downtime.
  • Enforce safety procedures and promote continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of reliability and positivity.
  • Maintain accurate shift reports and documentation, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Assist in training employees in machine operation, setup, and safety, emphasizing dependability and positive work habits.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating commitment and a positive attitude in all interactions.

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
  • 3+ years' of supervisory experience in automotive soft trim, press lamination, edge-folding, plastic injection molding or a similar manufacturing environment.
