Pest Control Technician

Bill's Home Service, a local, family-owned company that's been proudly serving southern Arizona since 1964, is looking for a motivated, reliable and detail oriented pest control technician to join our team. Never done this type of work before? That's OK If you enjoy solving problems, working independently and providing excellent customer service, we'll give you the training and support you need to succeed in this role.

As a technician, you'll run a daily route, inspect properties for pest issues and apply treatments safely and effectively. To that end, you'll communicate clearly with customers, document services in our system and help keep operations running smoothly by staying on schedule and keeping your vehicle organized. And while this isn't a sales role, you'll have the opportunity to identify needs for termite or weed services and share those with the team for follow up.

Responsibilities at a glance

• Run assigned route and arrive on time to each stop
• Inspect structures and exterior areas for pest issues
• Apply materials safely and according to product labels
• Communicate findings and treatment plans clearly to customers
• Complete callbacks and follow ups as needed to ensure issues are resolved
• Maintain accurate notes and chemical usage records in the CRM
• Make next day confirmation calls to provide time ranges for customers
• Keep vehicle clean, organized and operated safely
• Follow all safety, driving and compliance standards
• Identify and communicate opportunities for additional services (weed, termite, specialty treatments)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable using mobile apps and CRM for routing and documentation
• Organized, reliable and able to manage time independently
• Willingness to learn product label compliance, safety standards and reporting
