What we are looking for
Highly motived individual who provides outstanding customer service by protecting our critical systems, build solutions, and implement new software and hardware. They will manage all aspects of configuration and maintenance of our systems and will coordinate and resolve issues with third-party IT support companies and other technology vendors. The administrator will report directly to the CIO and will help drive innovation, IT strategy, and support new IT initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems in all locations.
- Manage network servers and technology tools.
- Evaluate existing technologies and recommend improvements.
- Order IT products and supplies such as labels and barcodes for scanners.
- Set up accounts, workstations, laptops, printers.
- Monitor and maintain the copier/scanner hardware and voice communication (phones).
- Monitor and maintain reliable performance of systems.
- Provide technical support and software and hardware training for users.
- Troubleshoot issues and outages.
- Travel to stores and warehouses to troubleshoot issues and outages and work with vendors and 3rd party IT Support team to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
- Ensure security and business continuity– controls, backups and restores, patches, and firewalls.
- Upgrade software with new releases.
- Propose hardware and software upgrades as appropriate to improve operation's consistency.
- Responsible for day-to-day administration of Microsoft 365, NetSuite, Point-of-Sale, and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Work with the IT leader to implement and support new IT Initiatives.
- Required 24/7 IT support for emergency outages or issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT and systems management
- Bachelors or Associates Degree in Information Systems or Computer Systems
- Excellent skills in computing, system administration, development, and design
- Certification(s) in Advanced IT
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Physical Demands And Work Environment:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
- Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, or kneel.
- Frequently utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
- Occasionally work in high, precarious places.
- Occasionally exposed to extreme cold temperatures ranging from -10˚ to 40˚.
- Continually exposed to outside weather conditions.
- Continually required to lift/push/carry items less than 15 pounds and up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently work near moving mechanical parts.
- Performs other related physical duties as assigned by management.
