Position Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer (Python & Modern JavaScript Frameworks) to design, build, and support modern web applications that enable mission-critical internal systems. Web application development is a required core skill for this role. This position is heavily focused on Python backend engineering, combined with professional experience building front-end web interfaces using frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular. You will develop and enhance a chat-based internal application, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and maintainable. While the application integrates with AI tools, AI/ML experience is not required—the focus is delivering production-grade full-stack web applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web application backends and RESTful APIs using Python (FastAPI, Flask).
  • Build responsive, intuitive front-end web applications using React, , or Angular. (Web application UI development is required.)
  • Implement secure web authentication and authorization frameworks (JWT, OAuth2).
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based web deployments to Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that follows modern web engineering best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and cross-team collaboration to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
  • Monitor and optimize web application performance, logging, and observability.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, including web architecture diagrams and operational processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 4+ years of Python-based web application development (FastAPI, Flask).
  • Strong proficiency in building modern front-end web applications using React (preferred), Vue, or Angular. (Web UI experience is required.)
  • Solid understanding of OOP, asynchronous programming, REST API design, and web application data modeling.
  • Experience deploying and supporting web applications in cloud environments (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub, CI/CD automation, and Docker for web deployments.
  • Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with or additional backend web frameworks.
  • Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, or infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Exposure to AI/ML frameworks (OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face)—not required but beneficial.
  • Experience in public sector, enterprise, or regulated web application environments.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
