The Gist…

As a Contract Administrator working for a government contractor, you will play a vital role in supporting the contract management team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the administration and coordination of contracts in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will ensure that contracts are managed efficiently and effectively.

What Your Day Might Include…
  • Contract Administration: Assist in the administration of contracts throughout their lifecycle, from initial drafting and review to contract closeout, ensuring compliance with all contractual requirements.
  • Subcontract Administration: Assist in the administration of subcontracts and commercial subcontracts throughout their lifecycle, from initial drafting and review to contract closeout, ensuring compliance with all contractual requirements.
  • Contract Review: Conduct thorough reviews of contract terms and conditions, identifying any potential risks or issues, and providing recommendations to the contract management team.
  • Contract Modifications: Support the contract management team in drafting, reviewing, and processing contract modifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare, review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements.
  • Handle and manage Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests ensuring compliance with contractually established thresholds and maintain files of active of COIs for subcontractors.
  • Lead responses to commercial solicitations from third party prime offerors.
  • Participate in development and administration of business alliances and teaming agreements.
  • Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract files, including all relevant documentation, amendments, and correspondence.
  • Compliance Support: Support in monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable contract requirements, laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address inquiries, provide contract-related information, and ensure effective communication throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Contract Closeout: Assist in the timely and accurate closure of contracts, including the resolution of any outstanding issues and the completion of required documentation.
Qualifications  
  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of contract administration for federal government contracts.
