We are seeking a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our busy logistics center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be essential in preparing customer orders for shipment. Responsibilities include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves, verifying order contents, and packing them securely to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. This position requires speed, accuracy, and a strong commitment to upholding our company's standards for quality and efficiency. Safety is a top priority; all employees must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to safe Lifting practices. Responsibilities:
- Pick specified items from warehouse locations accurately.
- Inspect items for damage and verify order quantities.
- Pack items using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Assist with inventory checks and maintaining stock organization.
- Follow all safety regulations, including the use of PPE and safe Lifting methods.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order picking lists.
- Must be able to perform Lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Comfortable standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is helpful.
