Join our team as an Order Picker in Jacksonville, Florida! We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, locating specific products, and preparing them for shipment. This role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring that customers receive exactly what they ordered, in excellent condition. You will work closely with the shipping department to ensure timely dispatch of goods. Safety is a top priority, and all employees are required to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safe lifting procedures. Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pick products based on order lists.
- Verify picked items against order specifications.
- Package items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate counts and assist with inventory management.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Must be able to perform frequent Lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is helpful.
