We are looking for a dependable and versatile Warehouse Associate to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is central to our distribution operations, encompassing a variety of tasks necessary for the efficient flow of goods. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products, all while ensuring accuracy and maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and staging.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Identify and report any operational issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
