Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to maintain and troubleshoot equipment in our state-of-the-art facility in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, directly impacting our logistics capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques. You will be responsible for keeping our automated systems, conveyors, and other machinery in optimal working condition, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual to contribute to a vital part of our operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, sorters, forklifts, and automated systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse machinery.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and perform emergency repairs to minimize operational impact.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Operate safely in a warehouse environment, including wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities to minimize disruption to logistics.
  • Inspect equipment regularly for wear and tear, recommending replacements or repairs as needed.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in maintenance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency in performing repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Awareness of workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve some Lifting and working in various warehouse conditions.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
