We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Los Angeles, California. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and store items appropriately.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners and order pick lists.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely (certification may be required).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock adjustments.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or discrepancies to management.
- Participate in ongoing training to improve efficiency and learn new warehouse processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Capability to handle heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic inventory control principles.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
