Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Use handheld scanners and other warehouse technology to manage inventory.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Understand the critical role of picking and packing in the broader logistics chain.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse role is advantageous. Ability to perform tasks requiring regular Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and being on your feet for most of the shift. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with warehouse technology is a plus. Commitment to workplace Safety. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
