Our Miami, Florida facility is looking for a meticulous and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. This critical role ensures that stock levels are precise, discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly, and that our logistics operations run smoothly. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for cycle counting, stocktaking, reconciling inventory records, and implementing best practices for inventory management. You will play a vital part in reducing shrinkage, improving order fulfillment accuracy, and supporting overall operational efficiency. A keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of inventory control principles are paramount. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with warehouse management systems (WMS) and possess a commitment to safety and compliance. This position involves regular lifting of items up to 30 lbs and requires adherence to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Experience in a high-volume logistics environment is highly desirable. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Analyzing inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implementing and enforcing inventory control policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient stock flow.
- Training other staff on inventory management best practices.
- Ensuring a safe and organized storage environment.
