We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our bustling warehouse in Miami, Florida. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from our inventory and meticulously packing them for shipment to our customers. You will be a key player in our logistics chain, ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly and efficiently. Working in a fast-paced environment, your responsibilities will include navigating the warehouse, locating specific products based on order details, verifying quantities, and ensuring items are packed securely to prevent damage during transit. Excellent attention to detail is vital to maintain order accuracy and minimize errors. You will also be involved in quality control checks and ensuring packages are properly labeled for shipping. Safety is our highest priority. All team members are required to adhere to stringent safety protocols and consistently wear personal protective equipment (PPE). This role demands physical stamina, including the ability to perform frequent lifting, stand for extended periods, and move throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to customer order specifications.
- Use scanning devices or pick lists to guide picking process.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate packing materials.
- Ensure all packages are correctly labeled for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of inventory as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
- Perform tasks involving standing, walking, and lifting for the duration of the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is desirable.
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
