We are seeking dedicated Picker/Packers to join our busy distribution center in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled. Your day-to-day tasks will involve using order pick lists to locate items within the warehouse, carefully packing them into appropriate shipping containers, and preparing them for dispatch. This position requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and Safety. You will be working in a dynamic logistics environment, and your accuracy directly impacts our customer's experience. We emphasize teamwork and adherence to all warehouse Safety guidelines. This role involves considerable physical activity, including frequent Lifting of boxes and standing for long durations. We provide all the necessary PPE to ensure your protection. - Pick correct items according to order tickets.
- Verify product accuracy and quantities.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all Safety procedures and wear designated PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Previous picking and packing experience is desirable.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics.
- Commitment to following all Safety rules and guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
