We are looking for motivated Order Pickers to join our dedicated logistics team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently gathering items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your day-to-day tasks will involve using RF scanners or pick lists to locate products, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected, and preparing them for the packing and shipping stages. Precision and speed are key, as is a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You'll be an integral part of our supply chain, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Compliance with all safety standards, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected. This position involves significant physical activity, including the ability to perform consistent lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds, and requires standing and walking for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Utilize RF scanners and pick lists to locate items efficiently.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure operational efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged items immediately.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and accuracy goals.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and other warehouse activities.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform manual tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics concepts.
- Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
