Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to join our extensive logistics operations in Los Angeles, California. As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your responsibilities will include conducting cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, assisting with physical inventories, and ensuring that all inventory records are up-to-date and accurate. This position requires a sharp eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of inventory control. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to identify and resolve any inventory-related issues promptly. While this role primarily focuses on data and record-keeping, some physical tasks may be involved, including light Lifting and moving of inventory items. Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse procedures is essential. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of physical inventories.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Track the movement of goods and ensure proper documentation.
  • Generate inventory reports as required.
  • Identify and report damaged or expired goods.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve inventory issues.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
  • Familiarity with inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations is beneficial.
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and wearing PPE.
