We are looking for a diligent and efficient Order Picker to join our bustling warehouse in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders, ensuring that the correct items are selected and prepared for shipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy are crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within our logistics network. This position involves navigating the warehouse, using order sheets or scanners to locate items, and preparing them for dispatch. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to stand for extended periods, and comfortable with the demands of manual Lifting. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all team members are required to follow strict safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Experience with RF scanners or other warehouse technology is a significant advantage. You will be working closely with other warehouse associates and supervisors to meet daily picking quotas and maintain inventory accuracy. This role is fundamental to our supply chain operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for quality control and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Meet daily picking and packing performance targets.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading skills.
- Familiarity with RF scanners is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Experience in logistics or distribution is beneficial.
