This position is crucial to our supply chain and logistics operations, involving a variety of tasks related to the efficient handling of materials. You will be responsible for receiving, processing, and distributing goods within the warehouse. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe and orderly workspace, and all team members are expected to follow strict safety procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload materials from trucks.
- Identify, sort, and place materials into correct storage locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper handling and recording.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Support the logistics team in any other assigned duties.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
Must be able to handle physical demands of the job, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is a plus. We are dedicated to ensuring a secure working environment.
