Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and shipping labels.
- Verify order accuracy against shipping documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and update system information.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external customers regarding shipment status.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and carrier guidelines.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain all issued PPE .
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks when necessary, involving moderate Lifting .
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related logistics/warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for documentation and tracking.
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to handle moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with shipping carriers and basic Logistics procedures.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety .
- Must wear and use appropriate PPE .
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
