Your responsibilities will include a variety of essential tasks such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. This role is fundamental to ensuring the efficient flow of goods and maintaining our high standards of service. Safety is our utmost priority; therefore, all employees must strictly follow all safety guidelines and consistently use designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess a strong work ethic, and have excellent organizational skills. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals, contributing to a productive and positive work environment. A basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial, and comprehensive training will be provided for all new hires. This position requires the ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. We place great emphasis on teaching and reinforcing safe lifting techniques to prevent injuries. Your accuracy and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining inventory integrity and minimizing errors in order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming merchandise.
- Pick items accurately from warehouse stock using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all warehouse areas.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with PPE usage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
