Our Kansas City, Missouri location is hiring Picker/Packers to support our expanding logistics operations. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse inventory and preparing them for shipment. This role is critical to ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for our valued customers. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, energetic, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from storage locations based on order pick lists or electronic devices.
- Inspect picked items for accuracy and damage.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping cartons.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation to packages.
- Operate scanning equipment and other warehouse technology.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Follow all established safety procedures and protocols, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counting as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Understanding of basic logistics processes and a willingness to learn.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
