We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio, a key hub in our logistics network. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. Your efforts will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our supply chain. Key duties include operating material handling equipment, loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and assisting with shipping and receiving tasks. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are expected to strictly follow safety guidelines and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical capability, including significant lifting and moving of items throughout your shift. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials to and from production and storage areas.
- Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stock rotation.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Undertake other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting and manual labor.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse safety protocols, including PPE usage.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
