Join our growing team as a Warehouse Worker in Durham, North Carolina. In this vital role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our distribution center running smoothly. Your duties will include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and performing inventory controls. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and shelve inventory.
- Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Pack orders for shipment, ensuring items are protected.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate records.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, focusing on Safety .
- Utilize provided PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Identify and report any damaged inventory or operational issues.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including sorting and organizing.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
