Are you an experienced and certified Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Austin, Texas? Our rapidly growing logistics company is seeking motivated individuals to join our distribution team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials within our warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately. Adherence to strict safety protocols and procedures is paramount, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Your ability to maneuver safely in a busy warehouse environment, navigate aisles, and interact with other team members will be key. This position involves significant physical activity and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience with different types of racking and inventory systems is a plus. You will work closely with inventory control and shipping departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Understanding of warehouse layouts and traffic flow is essential for optimal performance.
