We are looking for enthusiastic Pickers/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then preparing those items for shipment. This is a fast-paced position critical to our order fulfillment process. You'll use scanning devices and order lists to locate products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. We maintain a strong focus on workplace safety, requiring all employees to follow established safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The job requires significant physical stamina, including frequent bending, reaching, and the lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Use scanning technology and pick lists to identify and retrieve products.
- Inspect picked items for accuracy and any potential damage.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Stage packed orders for quality control and carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and picking area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Perform frequent bending, reaching, and lifting of items.
- Contribute to team goals for order accuracy and processing speed within the logistics chain.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a warehouse/logistics role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order information accurately.
- Physical ability to perform frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
