We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Certification/Registration strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable in a fast paced setting and have experience in various healthcare settings including clinics and/or urgent care. Working knowledge in Orthopedics or Pain Management preferred but not required.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
* Administer medications as directed by physicians.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
* Provide medical-surgical support to inpatient units as needed.
* Coordinate patient care activities and follow-up appointments.
* Support the clinic's administrative functions, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the clinic environment.
*Qualifications*
* Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
* Experience giving injections.
* Familiarity with clinical/urgent care practices and protocols is a plus.
* Proficiency in medication administration techniques.
* Previous experience in medical-surgical settings is advantageous.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and healthcare staff.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
