We are seeking a nurturing, energetic teacher to join our child care team. This role is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 15 months to 2.9. The Lead Teacher plans and implements curriculum, supports social–emotional development, maintains classroom organization, and builds strong partnerships with families.
*Responsibilities:*
· Plan and lead daily activities that support infant development
· Ensure a safe, clean, and positive classroom environment
· Observe, document, and assess children’s progress
· Communicate effectively with families and team members
· Guide assistant teachers and model best practices
· Follow licensing regulations, center policies, and health/safety procedures
*Qualifications:*
· EEC infant/Toddler certification
· Experience working with infants and toddlers in a group setting
· Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills
· Ability to lift, bend, and engage in active play
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
