We are seeking a skilled and compassionate part-time Dentist for Mondays. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and safety. The Dentist will perform a variety of procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, and more complex treatments as needed.
*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
* Perform a range of dental procedures including but not limited to oral surgery, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
* Administer anesthetics and manage pain control during procedures.
* Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment and ensure infection control protocols are followed.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote overall dental health.
* Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations using Dentrix software.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide exceptional patient care.
* Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
*Experience*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
* Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices.
* Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff alike.
* A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a friendly and professional manner.
