At A & D Child Care, we are committed to nurturing healthy, happy children. We believe nutritious meals are essential to a child's growth and daily learning experience. With this belief, we are looking for a Daycare Cook to join our incredible team

What You'll Do

• Plan and prepare daily nutritious meals and snacks following Canada Food Guide (or relevant standard)
• Accommodate allergies, intolerances, and special dietary requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
• Monitor food inventory and create grocery lists or order supplies
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Keep accurate records (menus, temperatures, allergy lists, cleaning lists, etc.)

What We're Looking For

• Experience cooking for groups, preferably in childcare, or school
• Knowledge of child nutrition and portion sizes
• Valid Food Handler Certificate (required)
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Understanding of allergy protocols and safe food-handling practices
• Warm, friendly personality with a commitment to children's well-being
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
