Heavy Duty Mechanic – Field Service
Location: Fort McMurray Region
Rotation: 14/7 or 14/14
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:
We're currently seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our field service team in the Fort McMurray area. Working from a fully equipped, modern service truck, you'll take on diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for a range of equipment, including dozers, pipelayers, loaders, and excavators.
Second-year apprentices with adequate experience on the tools are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment on-site
• Identify and address hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues
• Work independently in the field, including remote locations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service truck
• Complete accurate and timely service reports

What You Bring:

• Minimum two years of hands-on experience (including apprenticeship)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
• Strong decision-making skills and confidence working independently
• Experience servicing pipelayers, dozers, loaders, and excavators
• Must have stick welding experience
