Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Physiotherapy Assistant to support our healthcare team. This role involves providing administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth clinic operations, coordinating appointments, and assisting with patient communication. The ideal candidate will possess strong office management skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various administrative tools. Prior experience in healthcare or personal assistant roles is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to patient care and wellness.
Duties
- Manage appointment scheduling using Microsoft Outlook Calendar and other scheduling tools
- Provide front desk support, including greeting patients and handling multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
- Assist with patient intake, data entry, and maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
- Support event planning for health workshops or community outreach programs
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, proofreading documents, transcription, and office organization
- Coordinate project activities related to clinic operations and patient care initiatives
- Handle bookkeeping and basic QuickBooks entries for billing or inventory management
- Support office management tasks including office supply ordering, document management via DocuSign, and maintaining organized files
- Provide executive administrative support as needed to healthcare providers and management team
Experience
- Prior administrative experience in an office setting, healthcare environment preferred
- Experience with personal assistant duties, calendar management, and project coordination is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and data entry systems
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, office management software, and basic bookkeeping tools such as QuickBooks
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in proofreading, transcription, and filing tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
- Experience in event planning or supporting community health initiatives is a plus
This role requires a dedicated individual capable of multitasking efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, computer literacy, and a proactive approach to supporting a busy healthcare environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.26-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
