Childcare Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. This role involves caring for children, engaging them in educational activities, and supporting their social and emotional development.

Duties

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide care and support for children's physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Assist in managing daily routines such as meals, naps, and playtime.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a caregiving or educational setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that educate while entertaining children.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners.
• A background in classroom management is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $20.60-$22.60 per hour
