As we continue to grow, we're seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Safety Manager to join our Safety Department at our Indianapolis location. This is a full-time, hybrid position between the office and jobsites working Monday through Friday.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our safety operations—supporting our field leadership by overseeing the safety of various construction jobsites around Indianapolis and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, conducting safety inspections, trainings, evaluations, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Adherence to Federal, Local, & Company Safety Policies
  2. Promote Safety Culture
  3. Lead Safety Activities
  4. Update Policies & Regulations
  5. Coordination of Risk Assessments & Job Hazard Analysis
  6. Site Specific Safety Plans
  7. Site Safety Inspections
  8. Conduct Safety Trainings & Evaluations
  9. Attend Safety Meetings
  10. Perform Initial Accident Investigations
  11. Monitor Safety Performance
  12. Assess/Provide PPE
  13. Maintain Inspection & Training Records
  14. Prepare Reports
  15. Develop Safety Strategies
  16. Report Findings

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills with strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential for effective collaboration with team members and vendors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is recommended, as well as the ability to utilize and learn various software programs. A Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management or related field, as well as Board of Certified Safety Professional certification such as CSP, SMP, CHST are preferred, but not required. 5+ years of experience in safety is preferred, as well as a robust understanding and application of OSHA regulations. The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills. The candidate must have a High School diploma or equivalent to be considered for employment.
