Manufacturing Warehouse Associate

Chem-Pak, Inc. acts as the manufacturing arm of national brands, producing industrial and consumer products that are sold in Home Depot, Dick's Sporting Goods and Wal-Mart.

Our team of chemist's and project managers help develop new products and bring them to market, while our supply chain and production group manufactures and delivers product to store shelves.

We are located in Martinsburg, WV an easy commute from Winchester, Hagerstown and surrounding areas.

Summary:

The Manufacturing Warehouse Associate will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. This role involves working closely with the Warehouse Manager and other team members to ensure accurate inventory management and a smooth workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials and products
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to production schedules and customer requirements
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory counts
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the Warehouse Manager
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production and logistics, to ensure timely availability of materials and products
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency
• Experience using mobile scanner for purpose of Inventory movement

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for long periods
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting
• Forklift certification is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to execute strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work such as climbing, lifting objects up above shoulder level weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Able to work in extreme temperatures, indoors and out
