Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some background in food preparation and a keen interest in creating exceptional dining experiences. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to menu planning in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role is essential in delivering a casual dining and takeout experiences.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food handling and safety regulations.
• Assist in menu planning, including the selection of seasonal ingredients and innovative dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a culinary role or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety protocols.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
