Job Summary:
The Regional Hotel Manager is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the operations, performance, and strategic direction of two hotels across different brands and franchises located in Pullman and Moscow. This position functions similarly to a General Manager role but with broader multi-property responsibilities. The Regional Manager will divide their time between both hotels, ensuring operational excellence, strong financial performance, franchise compliance, and a consistently exceptional guest experience. Supported by a capable on-site team, the Regional Manager will lead key initiatives in operations, budgeting, sales, marketing, revenue management, staffing, and brand relations.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Property Leadership & Operations
- Oversee daily operations at both hotels, ensuring adherence to each brand's standards, franchise requirements, and company policies.
- Provide hands-on support to front-line teams and department leaders to maintain smooth, efficient operations.
- Ensure consistent execution of service standards, cleanliness, safety, and maintenance across both properties.
Team Management & Development
- Lead, mentor, and support hotel teams, including involvement in hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work culture at both locations.
Financial & Revenue Management
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for both hotels.
- Analyze financial reports and operational data to drive profitability.
- Partner with revenue management to optimize pricing, inventory, and market positioning.
Sales, Marketing & Community Relations
- Support sales and marketing efforts to increase visibility and demand for both properties.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with franchise representatives and community partners to support property goals.
Guest Experience & Quality Assurance
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by monitoring service delivery and addressing guest issues promptly.
- Conduct regular property walk-throughs and audits to uphold brand and operational standards.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with franchise requirements, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Promote and enforce safety, security, and risk management protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or multi-property hotel manager.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and driving financial performance.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, and travel regularly between properties.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50, $70,000.00 per year
