Job Brief: The Warehouse Associate will work under the supervision of and report directly to the Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring day to day tasks are performed in accordance with Luminalt processes with the core function of ensuring our installation crew is set up for success with materials and job preparation. This is a fast moving position that requires someone who is flexible and a team player.
Primary functions of the job:
- Deliver materials to jobsites as needed throughout the Bay Area
- Assist field teams on jobsites with panels, ladders, powerwalls etc.
- Warehouse upkeep. Stock, assemble and organize parts, tools and any other items that are received by the warehouse
- Sweep, empty garbage and compost. Ensure bathrooms and kitchen have paper products and are well stocked. Address facilities issues as directed
- Receiving and shipping materials physically and following administrative processes to ensure warehouse stock is properly accounted for
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy, damage and completeness
- Support Warehouse Manager with cross functional tasks to support crew, service department, project management and other departments
- Forklift - we will certify the right person
- Identify for Warehouse Manager any items low in stock or needed
- Monitor next day's schedule for changes in BOM or material deployment and ensure that materials on BOM for which warehouse is responsible for pulling are ready for crew the next morning.
- Support Warehouse Manager with material deployment and measures to increase crew efficiency in field
- Daily assist crew with return to warehouse. Check in with field team members if they need assistance in unloading or preparation for the next day. Ensure refuse is properly disposed of. Restock materials brought back by field team members in their proper warehouse location.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance and cleaning, get vehicles to and from shop.
- Create and maintain a list of contents in chemical closet, ensure its contents are not expired and MDSS are current
- Support organization and orderliness of service team shelves. Dispose of or materials following directions from service team
- Close up the warehouse, make sure all vehicles and Luminat equipment are secure overnight or the weekend.
Successful candidates must meet the following Requirements:
- Driving is a requirement for this position. Our insurance requires a valid CA driver's license with clean driving record and that the driver is 23 years of age and has minimum 3 years driving experience.
