Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to assist with daily operations in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, controlling inventory, and maintaining high-quality service in both casual and fine dining settings. The Restaurant Manager will be instrumental in fostering a positive team environment and driving the restaurant's success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure excellent performance.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and cleanliness standards.
  • Manage POS systems such Toast for accurate cash handling and sales tracking.
  • Control inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor food safety compliance to minimize waste and ensure quality standards.
  • Implement staff training programs focused on customer service, food handling, safety procedures, and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate shift schedules, manage labor costs, and ensure proper staffing levels for peak times.
  • Ensure adherence to health regulations and safety standards across all areas of the restaurant.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to optimize profitability.
  • Support catering, events, or bar operations as needed to expand service offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven management experience in a quick service & fast paced, casual dining and fine dining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, handling, and production.
  • Familiarity with Toast POS system and cash handling experience required.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and team management.
  • Ability to manage inventory control effectively while maintaining quality standards.
  • Culinary experience or background in food preparation is preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management.
  • Experience with shift management, budgeting, and food service management techniques.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and develop staff through training & development initiatives.
  • Knowledge of kitchen management practices including food handling and safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional passionate about the food industry to lead a vibrant team while delivering memorable dining experiences in a professional setting.

Pay: $53, $64,117.68 per year
