Expo/Food Runner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are complete and presented beautifully.
• Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Support the restaurant team during busy times by assisting with food preparation or other tasks as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment for guests.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members.
• Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of culinary terms and food handling practices is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help others in the kitchen or dining area as needed.
