Senior IT Security Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior IT Security Architect to support enterprise and operational security initiatives across large-scale public sector environments. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and strengthening security architectures, frameworks, and roadmaps while working closely with infrastructure, application, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define enterprise security requirements aligned with business and operational needs
• Design and document security architecture, standards, and roadmaps
• Evaluate and implement network and infrastructure security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
• Support IAM, endpoint protection, and policy compliance initiatives
• Perform security risk, vulnerability, and impact analysis
• Monitor security posture and recommend system upgrades and enhancements
• Prepare security assessments, metrics, and executive-level reports

Required Skills

• 10+ years in Information Security / Security Architecture
• Hands-on experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Experience with IAM, PKI, endpoint security, and monitoring tools
• Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $ $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
