Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide essential assistance and care for ederly female The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents through personalized support, safety oversight, and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment. Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor residents' health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Administer medications reminders following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual preferences; assist with meal consumption when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring compliance with sanitation standards.
- Document care activities accurately in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, social workers, and family members to develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration protocols.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, or hospice care is advantageous.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality is essential.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with people with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments such as autism or dementia.
- Experience in meal preparation, cleaning, and general caregiving duties within home health or long-term care environments.
- Demonstrated patience, reliability, and excellent communication skills to foster a respectful environment for residents and team members alike. Pay: $14.50 per hour
