Compensation:
$65,000 base salary + up to $10,000 performance bonus
Total On-Target Earnings: Up to $75,000
Schedule: Full-Time, Salaried (45–50+ hours/week as needed)
Availability: Nights, weekends, and late-night operations required
About Fat Shack
Fat Shack is a high-volume, late-night fast-casual restaurant known for bold food, fast service, and an energetic atmosphere. We are building something special in Seattle and are looking for a proven General Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in running a disciplined, people-first operation.
Position Summary
The General Manager has full ownership of the store's performance. This includes people leadership, operations, guest experience, financial results, and brand execution. This is a hands-on role for someone who leads from the floor, not the office.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Guest Experience
- Lead daily operations across all shifts
- Ensure consistent execution of food quality, speed of service, cleanliness, and hospitality
- Maintain excellent guest experience in-store and online
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly
Sales & Business Performance
- Drive revenue growth through strong execution and promotions
- Execute in-store marketing initiatives and local promotions
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance
Financial Management
- Manage labor scheduling, payroll, and labor cost control
- Oversee inventory, ordering, receiving, waste, and food cost
- Protect profit margins through disciplined execution
People Leadership
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members and shift leaders
- Build a culture of accountability and performance
- Conduct coaching, evaluations, and corrective actions as needed
Standards & Compliance
- Enforce all Fat Shack brand standards and operating procedures
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations
- Lead inspections and audits
Local Marketing & Brand Execution
- Execute promotions and community engagement initiatives
- Support marketing and content initiatives through strong in-store execution
Qualifications
- Proven General Manager or Senior Restaurant Manager experience
- Background in fast-casual, QSR, or high-volume restaurants
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Highly organized, accountable, and performance-driven

License/Certification:
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification (Required)
