Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to blueprints and schematics.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, bend, and install conduit and wiring systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, construction blueprints, and technical diagrams to support project execution.
• Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments.
• Conduct routine inspections using tools like ohmmeters to test circuits for continuity and proper function.
• Maintain a clean work area, organize tools, and ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site.
• Support the installation of framing carpentry elements related to electrical infrastructure when needed.

Experience

• Prior experience working with industrial or commercial electricians is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for electrical installations.
• Hands-on experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and power tools like drills and saws.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems as well as high voltage electrical safety procedures.
• Construction site experience demonstrating ability to work safely in active environments.
• Basic understanding of frame carpentry related to electrical infrastructure is a plus. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their electrical skills in a fast-paced construction setting while supporting experienced professionals on impactful projects

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
