Bartender/Waitress

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional drink experiences for our guests while maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Your ability to engage with customers and provide excellent service will be key to enhancing their overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, cocktail recipes, and menu offerings.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and perform basic math calculations for sales.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
• Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed.
• Assist in organizing special events or banquets by preparing drinks and serving guests in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or nightclub setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of food handling procedures within the food industry.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts to manage cash transactions effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and inventory management.
• A passion for sales and creating memorable experiences for guests is highly desirable.
